is the second member of the Godhead - is God’s only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless in His life, and by His death making atonement for the sin of the world. He shares all the attributes of the Father. We believe in His bodily resurrection and in His personal, visible, bodily return to the earth. the third member of the Godhead – shares the attributes that the Father and the Son possess. The work of the Spirit on behalf of the believer is to regenerate, baptize, seal, sanctify, fill, teach, guide, and comfort. In regard to a sinful world, He has come forth from God to convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment. (Acts 5:3-4; John 14:26; Ephesians 1:13-14; 5:28; I Corinthians 12:13; Titus 3:5; John 16:8-11)

was created by God in His image and though fallen is still in God’s image.The consequence of Adam’s sin – the representative head of all mankind – is that all people (Jesus Christ excepted) have a sin nature and are totally depraved. (Genesis 1:26-27; 9:6; James 3:9; Genesis 3:6-7; Romans 5:12, 18-19; Romans 3:9-18)

has been accomplished solely on the basis of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection. The new birth (justification) of the believer comes only by God’s grace through faith in Christ - totally apart from good works or commitment to future obedience. Repentance is a vital part of believing and is not a separate or independent act. Our salvation is secure and it is our privilege to be assured of our salvation based upon the trustworthiness of God’s Word. (Romans 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; John 3:16; 5:24; 20:31; John 10:27-28; I John 5:13)

-the body and bride of Christ- consists of all those who believe in Christ. The church began at Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2 and will be removed from the earth at the rapture. We believe that the church and the physical nation of Israel are distinct. As members of the Body of Christ, we believe that we are also members of one another and are to love one another with a pure heart. We believe that the Spirit has equipped us with gifts for the work of ministry. We believe in the observance of two ordinances – baptism and the Lord’s Supper
